At repo.trade, we're taking a measured approach to our launch, starting with a simplified version of our platform. This strategy allows us to build awareness, gather valuable community input, and ensure a smooth transition to our full-featured blockchain-based system.

🎉 Current Limitations

  1. 📚 Repository Registration: Users can bring forward any GitHub repository to our site and cast their desire for tokenization by liking the repository on repo.trade. This is the first step in identifying projects that the community finds valuable and worthy of tokenization.

  2. 🗳️ Likes: Each user can like any repository. This voting mechanism helps us gauge interest and prioritize which projects to onboard in the future.

Note

Personal repositories 👤 can be tokenized by their owners directly by casting their like on their own repository. This will trigger the tokenization and claiming process already with a very short waiting period.

Warning

Organizational repositories 🏢 are vetted before their are tokenized. Depending on the growth of repo.trade, we intend to tokenize the most-liked organizational repos on a regular basis to maintain fair chance of participation.
